On a late spring afternoon in 2006, a young idealist soon-to-be business owner asked his fellow investor what they could do to both encourage and reward a standout employee for being in the business for 5 years… Or even 10 years?!
Great question! Without even a trading business (yet), the long service bonus was created to recognise hard work and loyalty.
And it’s no small matter… Our team have put their long service bonus towards holidays and travelling, saving and investing, bringing dreams, plans and goals to fruition and possibly one or two pairs of shoes, or a few cold Heinekens…
We’ve paid out over $260,000 to date, and $70,000 forecast for 2024. And, rumour has it there is a 15 year bonus in the works. Outstanding!
